Sean Stoopman: 2nd Degree Black Belt under Professor Tom DeBlass

Sean is the head instructor and founder of Ascend Jiu Jitsu &  Silverback Academy.  Sean focuses on teaching the intermediate and advanced levels of the Brazilian Jiu Jitsu program along with personally overseeing the competition training for the Jiu Jitsu Team. Sean has a passion for developing athletes to reach their full potential in grappling both in and out of the Gi.  

Focusing on implementing a systems based approach to grappling, he has produced a number of world champions, Pans champions and a multitude of other notable wins in local, national and international events.
